HYPERBARIC CHAMBER
What is it?
It is a pressurized chamber where Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) or Hyperbaric Medicine is applied. It is the medical use of 100% pure oxygen, at pressures of 1.5 to 3 ATA (absolute atmospheres). We have a rigid hyperbaric chamber, single-seater and totally transparent.
What is it for?
It serves to bring oxygen to all our tissues, improving circulation and injury regeneration.
What are the most frequent indications?
Gas embolism, decompressive disease, C02 poisoning, crush injuries, traumatic ischemia, gas gangrene, arterial insufficiency, severe anemia, intracranial abscess, necrotizing soft tissue infection, refractory osteomyelitis, delayed radiation injury, compromised grafts and flaps, acute thermal burn injury, idiopathic sudden hearing loss, diabetic foot lesions, central retinal artery occlusion, stage IV neuroblastoma, brain damage, interstitial cystitis and others.
OLIGOSCAN
What is it?
It is a medical device based on spectroscopy.
It measures excesses or deficiencies of:
- Vitamins, minerals and trace elements
- Heavy metals
- Oxidative stress
Why is it useful?
It allows us, with a quick, simple, non-invasive and painless examination, to elaborate a diagnosis to solve the deficiencies detected, to eliminate heavy metals or to plan an antioxidant treatment.
